What do you wish you had known when you were in college?
I wish I had someone tell me that it was okay to make mistakes because I get to learn from them and do better in the future. I also wish I knew that it was okay to advocate for my needs and set boundaries to take care of myself.
What does your perfect day off look like?
Park hopping at Disneyland with wait times being no more than 20 minutes.
What are your top personal goals for this year?
I want to prioritize my dance journey by being more consistent in attending a few classes a month. I also want to be better about staying active, either by walking each day or going to the gym a few times a week.
What are your strengths as a Success Coach?
My strengths as a Success Coach come from my own experience of being a first-generation student navigating Higher Education. I recognize the power of authentic connections that welcome and embrace vulnerability, growth, and learning. I strive to create spaces where students can feel comfortable enough to share their story, work together to navigate any obstacles, and celebrate accomplishments. I consistently center intentionality in my practices to be mindful of equitable approaches to support students and meet their current needs. I’m looking forward to connecting with y’all!
